Launch of the website 7 Acts of Love over a whole floor at the Great Eastern Hotel, 2022

7 Acts of Love was commissioned by e-2

7 Acts of Love was an online space offering an interactive therapy session with a bot therapist about separation. It has preceded the current (2025) AI therapy trend. The site was inspired by Say Cheese one-to-one performances, developing the live project into the medium of the Internet. The launch was also an experiment in making therapy sessions communal, with the option for private sessions.

7 Acts of Love website had three parts: an extensive archive of Marcus Fisher projects, the therapist room – a permanent sound and image interaction with  a bot-therapist, and a live online residency where people could chat to the artist one-to-one, for 4 days during April 2002. 7 Acts of Love website no longer exist, the technology that was used for the therapist bot is now extinct.
