The work comprised of a dressed performer who paints monkeys faces on naked bums. The one-off bum painting, then get pressed and printed into paper. The piece is engaged in biopolitics; bodies, power, scapegoating, health, labour, identity politics and is centered around the bum; a zone of the dirty, cleansed, erotic, ostracised, a/gendered, classified, indeterminate, exclusive, democratic, stupid, knowledgeable and decorative. All in the service of the production of art.
